About Chameleon Studios

We are a small, early-stage company developing educational virtual-reality experiences that combines game-based exploration with hands-on STEAM learning. Our goal is to make technical education more engaging, memorable, and accessible by placing learners inside interactive environments where they can see, test, break, repair, and understand how real systems work.

At the heart of our projects is a simple idea: learning does not have to feel like a lecture and we strive to prove this in each of our projects.

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable, curious, and creative college student to support social-media planning and launch preparation for The Castle, exploring the fundamentals of basic electrical theory.

Learn more about The Castle.

Our first release is scheduled to be available on Steam by mid-September for review by social-media influencers who have already expressed interest in working with us. The selected intern will help prepare public-facing content, organize outreach materials, research appropriate audiences and platforms, and support communication surrounding the launch.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a real developing product and create portfolio-ready work connected to VR, education, and independent game development.

Primary Goals

  1. Learn about Chameleon Studios, The Castle, and its intended audiences.
  2. Research target audiences and recommend social-media platforms with the strongest potential reach.
  3. Review existing social-media accounts and posts to identify gaps.
  4. Draft social-media content and recommend improvements to public-facing messaging.
  5. Help develop and maintain a posting schedule.

Anticipated Weekly Responsibilities

Content collection — approximately 1 hour

Collect screenshots, short video clips, quotes, development notes, and other material from existing or developing content. Organize these materials in a shared folder for future use.

Drafting social content — approximately 2 hours

Prepare three to five draft posts per week for selected platforms. All posts must be reviewed and approved before publication.

Community support — approximately 1 hour

Suggest Discord discussion topics, questions, or other community-engagement ideas. Recommend practical ways to measure engagement and identify recurring questions or audience-interest signals.

Research — approximately 1 hour

Review similar VR, STEAM, homeschool, educational-technology, and independent-game accounts. Identify content that receives meaningful engagement and recommend one or two improvement ideas each week.
